Our strong golden ale, moel is inspired by the rough and hilly moorland landscape of Wales and southeast England, and the parallels seen in winters in the mountains of New England. This is the sort of drink you might want to sip to fortify you before a midwinter hike.
Filled with complex, fruity esters and a full body, the warming effect is reminiscent of Belgian abbey ales. But moel has a crisp, wavering edge to it, reminiscent of the feeling of looking out on cold, empty moors.
