Swedish: “maple tree”

red ale
pairs with:
pizza; roasted vegetables; salty pretzels

Vermont is renowned for its brilliant red maples. And Wintershead is renowned for lönn, a fine American red ale. Its resinous edge might remind you of autumn time in a northern clime. The heart of this beer is its controlled hoppy character. It might remind one of a pale ale, but this is an altogether more subtle drink: it lacks that bitterness that can overwhelm a meal. Instead it is warm, robust, with a smooth malty finish.
